Gold Panda’s debut full-length, “Lucky Shiner,” draws upon emotional connections to friends and family to spin a pulsing, textured set of portraits, crafted from flattened sampled textures in tiny slices. It’s a journey through a series of musical screens. The artist, out on Ghostly International, has already made a name in singles and remixes, but the full-length gives him room to tell a story.
