Disco Demons – Hangover Sessions #11 Mix

Hier zum Start in das Wochenende, zum Feierabend noch mal ein schönes Mix für euch zum Anhören und Runterladen!

In a month with so many great releases like the last one, Aka Tell´s “Hangover Sessions” can only bring a small selection of it, but this selection is done by heart.

This was an amazing month with tons of new music. Not surprising as the time before christmas is commonly used to release everything you can. But I am not sure why this is still done in dance music, I don´t think that people buy some techno tracks to celebrate christmas. Okay, maybe they do, but maybe it´s just that the music inspired by this summer´s festivals is now ready to hit the stores.
As it was a hard decision which tracks I should include in this month’s mix I will also write about the tracks that did not make it – especially as this selection was more about which tracks fit together than just to make a months showcase (what I also did sometimes).

While listening to this months mix you might notice that there are three Crookers tracks included. Of course, this can be seen related to their recently released album (one track is from the album, one a remixed album track and one is a Crookers remix – as management always tries to get more remix deals to support the own releases I also would see this in relation) but there are also some other artists that could have had three tracks in my mix this month. For example Modek and TWR72 are releasing tons of great stuff at the moment.
The Bromance #1 EP by Brodinski & Gesaffelstein is so great that I could have also included both tracks in it, but I only chose to use Gesaffelstein´s track “Control Movement”.
Ado did an excellent remix for Bobble´s “Zacharias” which again shows that he created his very unique style – also not in the mix, the same happened to Felguk´s “Bassive” and Doctr´s “Nighttrain”.
At least 19 tracks actually made it in my Hangover Sessions #11 mix. Please enjoy music Keith & Supabeatz, Rotze, Umek & Beltek, The Loops Of Fury, Azzido da Bass and many more. And, as always, I would be happy to receive your feedback!
